Our US-based client required a robust management solution tailored for contractors and home improvement professionals to streamline their day-to-day operations. The goal was to develop an all-in-one CRM system that seamlessly integrated sales, marketing, and management functions, incorporating top-tier productivity and accounting tools. Artkai's approach centered around a customer-focused design to meet the unique needs of both the client and their end users.

Development objectives and challenges
To ensure success, Artkai conducted an extensive discovery phase to align business objectives with user needs. We prepared technical specifications and crafted a comprehensive product roadmap. Our team developed a user-centered CRM with an intuitive interface and a visually distinctive design. It was vital to meet industry standards while also delivering a solution that was easy for users to adopt. The system was further enhanced with integrations for leading accounting and management tools.

Development process
The development journey spanned four months for discovery and design, followed by eight months of development and testing. To guarantee reliability and feature richness, we employed best practices and utilized key technologies. We leveraged TypeScript for both the front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js) to ensure code stability and reduce future maintenance costs. 

Amazon AWS was selected as the cloud service provider, and Kubernetes was utilized for efficient deployment. PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases were employed to manage diverse data types, while Swagger was used for API documentation and testing. We also built a robust REST API to serve as the primary communication gateway.

Outcome
The custom CRM system we developed exceeded client expectations. Within the first year, it managed over 5 million jobs and facilitated $36 billion in total sales. The system quickly gained traction, with 24,000 active users and a growing user base. The client was highly satisfied with the results, solidifying the CRM system's value in the marketplace.

Real Estate Marketplace - Prop.ly

About the project and business
In Singapore, real estate agents dominate residential property sales, often driving high marketing costs. Plop.ly aimed to disrupt this market by creating a mobile app that empowers homeowners with choices. The app connects property owners with agents, offering transparency and control over commissions, helping sellers secure the best possible deals.

Development objectives and challenges
Artkai's task was to centralize the tools required for a successful launch, alongside providing analysis and optimization capabilities for advertising campaigns.

Development process
The project consisted of three months of discovery and design, followed by three months of development and testing. Our team gathered key industry insights and developed a Customer Journey Map to determine the core features of the MVP. We crafted a memorable brand identity, using contrasting elements and warm colors to create a welcoming experience. The app was designed with distinct functions for property owners and real estate agents. On the admin side, moderators were provided with tools to manage property listings, users, and the referral system. We integrated the app with the Customer.io CRM, enabling marketing teams to track events and send personalized communications.

Outcome
The Plop.ly app produced exceptional results for the client. Homeowners can now find agents five times faster, and the app has earned an impressive 4.8-star rating on app stores. Additionally, the cost of acquiring new customers for real estate agents dropped by 40%, showcasing the app’s efficiency and success.

iFunded, a German startup, sought to democratize real estate investment by creating an online marketplace for private and institutional investors. The platform connects investors with curated real estate projects, offering them access to transparent, affordable opportunities. Developers, on the other hand, benefit from alternative financing and increased visibility at the early stages of their projects. iFunded collaborates with both national and international developers, ensuring investors receive the information they need to make informed decisions.

Development objectives and challenges
Artkai’s responsibility included building the web-based investment platform from scratch. Our goal was to blend the proven concept of crowd financing with innovative technology, compelling investment opportunities, and a streamlined user experience. We were also tasked with creating a new brand identity and marketing website for iFunded.

Development process
The project took 3.5 months for discovery and design, and 7 months for development and testing. We developed a user-friendly platform featuring educational resources for investors, a simplified investment process, industry news updates, and personalized dashboards. Investors could also enjoy an easy registration process and detailed deal overviews. A stylish visual identity was created alongside a marketing website, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices with a focus on credibility and usability.

Outcome
iFunded successfully simplified the complex and stressful process of real estate investing, leading to significant achievements. With an increasing demand for residential properties across Qatar, the UAE, and neighboring countries, the client sought to create a digital presence that would attract and engage potential buyers. The goal was to design a website that resonated with local tastes while offering a seamless experience for users exploring property options in this booming market.

Development objectives and challenges

Our goal was to create a simple yet captivating website that reflects Arabian charm and visual appeal. It needed to evoke a sense of trust and familiarity for users, making them feel it was tailored specifically for them. A major challenge was balancing the rich Arabian aesthetic with simplicity while ensuring the site’s functionality remained intuitive. Another key challenge was designing the site to accommodate right-to-left (RTL) Arabic script, ensuring a seamless experience across different languages.

Development process

We began with an in-depth exploration and discovery phase, studying Arabian visual features to incorporate them organically into the design. Our focus was on finding the perfect blend of colors and styles that would resonate with the target audience. Each city featured on the website was given a dedicated page containing all the necessary information, allowing users to easily scan and explore further if desired. The project involved designing more than 40 responsive pages, all of which were optimized for desktops, smartphones, and tablets. On mobile devices, filters were separated into their own screens, and we introduced unique interaction animations to enhance the user experience.
