This Cookies Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies artkai.io (the “Website”) uses, and how you control them.
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar place in your browser where a website can keep a setting; unlike a cookie, it is not sent with your requests.
What the Website uses
- Google Analytics 4, if we use it, to count visits and see how the pages are used. Before you accept it in the cookie banner, and if you reject it, it sends Google only anonymous measurements: nothing is stored in your browser and your visits cannot be linked to you or to each other. After you accept, it stores its cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, kept for up to 2 years) and measures visits in full. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off.
- Your cookie choice (“artkai-consent” in local storage), once you make one in the banner, so it does not ask again on every page. It is kept for 6 months, then you are asked again.
- Your theme (“artkai-theme” in local storage), only if you switch between the light and the dark theme.
- Videos. Client videos play from youtube-nocookie.com, and only when you start one. YouTube's own policies apply to the player.
The Website uses no advertising cookies and no tracking of its own. If you are an editor of the Website and sign in to its admin panel, a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in; visitors never get it.
Your choice
When we use Google Analytics, you can accept or reject it in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you reject, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Website works without them.
