Fintech App Development Services
As a fintech software development company, we work for banks, payment providers, lenders and insurers, enterprise first. We have designed and built online banking for a bank, redesigned the portal a payment provider's merchants run their business from, moved a merchant-payments platform to the cloud and modernized an insurer's policy and claims platform.
The situation
A small change on a platform that moves money
A payment provider's merchants ask for one change to the dashboard they open every morning. On the screen it is a single form. Getting it live means a platform that takes payments all day, a compliance review, and a release window that operations has to agree to. The product manager has been promising it since the last roadmap review.
At a bank the same pattern starts at the branch. Customers queue for things they could do on a phone, the contact center answers questions the app should, and the mobile app and the web banking look like products of two different banks.
In custom fintech software development, the work does not start with the screen. It starts with how money moves through the system, which parts cannot stop while others are replaced, and who signs off a release. The design has to be settled before the front end and the API of a module are built, and every change has to be one the risk team can follow.
Banking software development online and mobile banking customers use every day
ProCredit Bank Georgia wanted its customers to do everything online, so that work moved off its branches and contact center and staff had more time for financial advice. Every existing feature had to become easier to find, on the web and on a phone.
We began with research alongside the bank's team: a workshop on site with its staff, in-depth interviews with customers and usability tests of journeys such as applying for a loan and following its progress. Design and build then ran in parallel under one rule: the API and front end of a module did not start until its design was delivered.
On the web, a dashboard puts the main actions on one screen and customers can arrange their own menu. In the mobile banking app, a customer opens an account with video identification instead of a branch visit, and signs in with a short passcode, a fingerprint or face recognition. A new My finances section shows income and expenses on both channels. The front end is React and React Native on one interface system the two share, and customers now transfer money, sign in and block a lost card faster.
That engagement was Product Design and the front end; the core banking systems behind the screens stayed outside it.
Payment and lending software development merchant portals, platforms and first releases
DNA Payments is one of the largest independent payment providers in the UK and EU. Its merchant portal had every function a merchant needed and was hard to use, with no mobile version. Through Product Design we rebuilt onboarding first: the price plan chosen on the landing page, a registration form cut to the fields that matter, a progress stepper and document exchange inside the portal. Then came payments, refunds, settlements and payment links, and the mobile version. New users went up and early churn went down.
Merchant Pay, a US merchant-payments company renamed under NDA, ran on a monolith, an outdated front end and its own servers. As Legacy Modernization we audited it, drew a step-by-step migration plan, split the back end into Node.js services, moved the web front end to React and the app to React Native, and moved hosting to AWS and Google Cloud. Point-of-sale systems now sync stock in real time, customers pay by NFC, QR code, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and sign-in has multi-factor authentication and roles. Infrastructure cost fell and the system got faster.
Some fintech work is back-office work. HedgeFlows is cross-border business payments with bulk payments, automatic reconciliation, accounting-system integrations and booking of future exchange rates. Hero 7 is a web platform for retirement advisers that finds prospects, compares retirement plans and generates proposals automatically. Both sit in Business Process Automation. For EquiX, a trading platform for self-directed investors, the mobile work was ours; mobile use and satisfaction rose and support requests fell.
Two new products went from discovery to a first release through AI MVP Development. Finly is a personal finance app for web and mobile, with linked bank accounts, budgets, bills and savings goals, developed further after launch. Lendora is the first release of a consumer lending platform for a US lender moving online: borrower application and onboarding, loan servicing, automated underwriting and payments.
Insurance software development a policy and claims platform rebuilt, with a mobile app
A US insurer selling auto, life, health and travel insurance ran its customers on Policy Hub, a platform built on outdated technology. It was slow, hard to use, struggled as policies grew and had no usable mobile experience, and claims were processed largely by hand.
The audit came first and named the problems: a stack that was hard to maintain, a complex interface, manual claims handling and a platform that was hard to scale. We redesigned the interface and rebuilt the web platform so customers compare and buy policies side by side, see renewal dates, set up automatic renewals and submit a claim with its documents, then follow it. The manual steps that held claims up were automated.
The iOS and Android app was built from scratch in React Native, with biometric sign-in and insurance cards in Apple Wallet and Google Pay. The stack follows the insurer's Microsoft environment: React and TypeScript, .NET and C#, SQL Server and Azure. This was Legacy Modernization, and claims are now processed faster and more customers stay.
Crypto exchange apps and digital asset products design and builds
Our product work includes crypto companies. For Huobi we adapted the mobile app design for the European market, based on interviews with traders, and designed a marketing website. For CEX.IO, a cryptocurrency exchange, we built a new iOS and Android app for buying, selling and exchanging cryptocurrency.
For Taurus, a Web3 app, we built a proof of concept that rewards better sleep with tokens and connects to a wearable. The rest of this work is on the Digital Assets & Web3 page.

Questions
What fintech software development services do you offer?
Product Design and front end for online and mobile banking, redesigns of merchant products, Legacy Modernization of payment and insurance platforms, new products from discovery to first release through AI MVP Development, and Business Process Automation for finance back-office work such as reconciliation and proposals.
Are you a banking software development company?
We designed the web and mobile banking of ProCredit Bank Georgia and built its front end, from customer research to video identification and biometric sign-in. Customers now transfer money, sign in and block a lost card faster. The core banking systems behind those screens were outside that engagement.
Do you do payment software development?
Yes. We redesigned the merchant portal of DNA Payments, and for a US merchant-payments company we rebuilt the platform, moved it to the cloud and added contactless payments. We also built HedgeFlows, a cross-border payments service with bulk payments and automatic reconciliation.
Can you modernize a payment platform that has to keep taking payments?
That is how we plan it. For Merchant Pay we started with an audit of the bottlenecks and of the functions the business could not afford to lose, and the rebuild followed a step-by-step migration plan drawn from it.
What insurance and lending software development have you done?
For a US insurer we modernized Policy Hub, its policy and claims platform, automated the manual claims steps and built its iOS and Android app. For a US consumer lender we built the first release of Lendora: borrower application and onboarding, loan servicing, automated underwriting and payments.
How do you handle audit when AI is part of the work?
Decisions below a confidence threshold, and exceptions, go to a person on your side, and every model decision is logged with its basis for audit. The threshold and the routing are agreed with the process owner at the start.
Do you work on crypto and Web3 products?
Yes, as product work: the mobile app design for Huobi in Europe, a new iOS and Android app for the CEX.IO exchange and a proof of concept for Taurus. They have a page of their own under Financial Services.
