Energy software development services for utilities, and manufacturing software for the companies that test what they build

Our energy software development services sit where a utility meets its customers and where an energy company runs its own portfolio and people: a billing and consumption portal for DTEK, an ERP for solar energy, an HR platform for a large US energy company. On the manufacturing side we built a platform that brings test data and certification work into one place. It is for the CTO whose systems of record hold the data while customers, engineers and managers cannot use them directly.

The situation

What the support line knows

A customer opens a bill she cannot match to her meter and phones the support line, and so do many others the same morning. On the day bills go out, that line is the utility's real dashboard: it shows exactly where the billing makes no sense to the people who pay it, and every answer an agent gives is one the portal could have given first.

Across town, at a company that tests and certifies electronic products, the same thing happens in a different form. Results sit in the files each rig produces, the report for a client is put together by hand, and the person who knows where everything lives is the one everyone waits for.

For whoever builds the software, both scenes say the same thing. The data already exists, in SAP, in test equipment, in an accounting system. The work is to put it in front of the customer, the engineer or the manager in a form they can act on, and to wire it back into the systems the company keeps running.

Utility and renewable energy software development the bill and the portfolio

A utility's customers judge it by the bill and by how hard it is to get an answer about it. The billing logic lives in an enterprise system built for accountants, not for a household or a small business trying to understand last month's consumption.

DTEK is an energy distribution company in Ukraine, and we built the portal where its private and business customers follow their consumption, manage their bills and pay them. The portal is integrated with SAP, so what a customer sees comes from the same records the company bills from. Once it was in use, fewer requests reached the support center and customer satisfaction rose. That work sits in our Business Process Automation service: the process of answering billing questions was moved to the place where the customer already is.

For a company in solar energy we built an ERP that joins accounting, production monitoring, and project and task management for its solar energy portfolios. Instead of one tool for the money, another for what the panels produce and a third for the work on site, the portfolio is run from one system. It was a new product, built through our AI MVP Development service.

In both cases we started from the records that already existed and built the layer people use on top of them. If the system underneath is the problem, Legacy Modernization maps what it does and replaces it in phases, with the aim of keeping it in service while the work goes on.

Custom manufacturing software development the systems that test and certify the product

Before a manufactured product can be sold, it is tested and often certified, and that work produces data from many sources, workflows with many hand-offs and reports someone has to assemble. When each of those lives in its own place, the bottleneck is people moving information between them.

We built PulseCore, a testing and certification management platform for a US electronic testing and certification company, renamed here under NDA. It brings test data into one place and automates the workflows and the reporting around it. Manual effort fell once it was in use.

This is software development for manufacturing companies done as Business Process Automation: the work is on the process the screens serve, and what is built is wired into the systems the company already runs, with the code owned by the client and no per-seat licenses.

Custom energy software development for the workforce an HR platform

A large energy company employs people across many sites and roles, and HR managers need to see who is on track and who needs attention without reading every report themselves.

We built an AI-powered human capital management product for a large US energy company: goals, performance tracking and rewards, with AI-assisted analysis for HR managers. Its AI reads performance metrics and flags the employees furthest behind, suggests meeting times from their calendars, and helps new hires complete onboarding documents and training.

It was a new product, and it sits in our AI MVP Development service, which today runs on the Artkai AI SDLC: each stage ends in a document authorized by the role named on it, and that record stays in the client's project.

Questions

What energy software development services do you offer?

We build new products for energy companies through AI MVP Development, automate processes such as customer billing questions through Business Process Automation, and replace older systems in phases through Legacy Modernization. Our energy work includes DTEK's customer portal, an ERP for solar energy and an HR platform for a large US energy company.

What utility software development have you done?

The portal where DTEK's private and business customers follow their consumption and manage and pay their bills, integrated with SAP. Once it was in use, fewer requests reached the support center and customer satisfaction rose.

Have you done renewable energy software development?

Yes. For a company in solar energy we built an ERP that joins accounting, production monitoring, and project and task management for its solar energy portfolios, so the portfolio is run from one system.

Are you a manufacturing software development company?

We build manufacturing software where it meets testing and certification. PulseCore, a platform we built for a US electronic testing and certification company, brings test data into one place and automates workflows and reporting; manual effort fell once it was in use.

Can you work with the systems an energy company already runs?

That is where the work starts. DTEK's portal reads from SAP, and PulseCore brings data from existing sources into one place. If an older system is itself the problem, Legacy Modernization replaces it in phases, planned so it stays in service while it is replaced.

Do you build AI into internal tools for energy companies?

We did for a large US energy company: an HR platform whose AI reads performance metrics, flags the employees furthest behind, suggests meeting times and helps new hires through onboarding documents and training.

Are you an energy software development company?

Our energy work covers a utility's customer portal for DTEK, an ERP for solar energy and an HR platform for a large US energy company.
