Healthcare software development company for hospitals, clinicians and health-tech

As a healthcare software development company, we work for hospital software vendors, clinician tools and health-tech companies with products that have grown for years. We have modernized a hospital management system, a communication platform clinicians adopted and a telehealth platform, redesigned a portal for healthcare professionals, and documented a legacy health-tech portfolio with agents on the Artkai AI SDLC.

The situation

The screen and the module behind it

A nurse on a ward has a patient in front of her and a record open on the screen. If the screen asks twice for the same detail, she will find a faster way, and the faster way is one the hospital cannot see. A message to a doctor in another clinic goes by phone because the chat is slower than walking down the corridor.

Behind the screen, software that has grown for years carries rules nobody wrote down. The products were built by different teams in different ways, the interface changes from one module to the next, and a change in one module starts with finding out what the module is for.

In custom healthcare software development, that sets the order of work. First a written account of what the system does today, checked with the people who run it. Then the screens, designed for someone with a patient in front of them. Only then the rebuild, in an order the clinics can work through.

Healthcare software product development on a legacy portfolio documented first

A US health-tech company had acquired a portfolio of healthcare products and joined them into one environment. Different teams had built them in different ways, and the quality of the whole had to be judged against a long list of criteria. That needs a written, shared account of what each product does, and producing it through grooming sessions and specifications was slow.

On the Artkai AI SDLC, agents reviewed each application, asked targeted questions and reconstructed the product logic, then gathered and validated the requirements. The teams got a clearer view of each system's architecture. The validated requirements then went to quality assurance, where agents turned them into structured test cases.

In the design work, our designers reviewed the existing products and ran an accessibility audit, then built a design kit, guidelines and a component library to unify them. With AI-augmented design, the team generated the missing components, their Storybook documentation and the front-end code, and senior designers kept control of UX quality. The products now share one component library, and producing component variations takes far less time.

The work sits across AI MVP Development, AI SDLC Enablement and Product Design. The company's VP of Software Engineering reviewed us on Clutch.

Medical software development for hospitals, clinicians and telehealth

For an enterprise IT company in healthcare, we audited, redesigned and modernized a hospital management system used by clinics across the United States. The technical audit came first, then the redesign and the rebuild, and patient processing got faster.

CareLink is a secure chat system for doctors and clinical staff, within one clinic and across clinics. We redesigned and modernized it; clinicians adopted it and communication delays fell. HealthLink is a telehealth platform for clinicians and patients with video consultations, rebuilt after a UX and technical audit.

All three are Legacy Modernization: software that clinics already depend on, audited before anything is rewritten. For Roche, through Product Design, we ran UX research and redesigned the portal healthcare professionals in Switzerland use for product information and scientific materials.

Questions

What healthcare software development services do you offer?

Legacy Modernization of hospital, clinician and telehealth platforms, Product Design for portals and clinical tools, and documentation and test cases for legacy health-tech products through AI MVP Development and AI SDLC Enablement.

What healthcare software have you built or modernized?

A hospital management system used by clinics across the United States, where patient processing got faster; CareLink, a secure chat for clinical staff that clinicians adopted; HealthLink, a telehealth platform; and the portal for healthcare professionals of Roche in Switzerland.

Do you do telehealth app development?

We rebuilt HealthLink, a telehealth platform for clinicians and patients with video consultations. The work started with a UX and technical audit, and the rebuild followed from what it found.

Can you work on a health-tech product nobody has documented?

Yes. For a US health-tech company on the Artkai AI SDLC, agents reconstructed the product logic of its legacy systems, the requirements were validated, and agents turned them into structured test cases.

Do you do custom healthcare app development from scratch?

Our healthcare cases so far are platforms rebuilt and redesigned rather than new products. New products from discovery to first release run through AI MVP Development, which we have done in other industries, such as personal finance and lending apps in Financial Services.

Are you a healthcare app development company?

Our healthcare cases are platforms for clinics and clinicians, rebuilt after an audit: a hospital management system, CareLink and HealthLink, and a portal for healthcare professionals.
