Agents that documented a health-tech portfolio and wrote its test cases

A health-tech company owned a set of products that different teams had built in different ways. Agents read the applications and reconstructed the product logic, then turned the validated requirements into test cases.

The situation

The client had acquired a portfolio of healthcare products and joined them into one environment. Different teams had built them in different ways, and the quality of the whole ecosystem had to be judged against a long list of criteria. That needs a written, shared account of what each product does.

Producing that account the usual way, through grooming sessions and written specifications, was slow and resource-intensive. The products also looked and behaved differently from one another: the interface was inconsistent and the experience fragmented.

What we did

We applied the Artkai AI SDLC in three places. First, documentation. Agents reviewed each application, asked targeted questions and reverse-engineered the product logic, then gathered and validated requirements. The teams got a clearer view of each system's architecture.

Second, quality assurance. The validated requirements went to the next step: agents turned them into structured test cases.

Third, design. The designers started with a structured review of the existing products and an accessibility audit, then built a design kit, guidelines and a component library to unify them. With AI-augmented design, the team generated the missing components, Storybook documentation and front-end code. Senior designers stayed in control of UX quality throughout.

The result

The products now share one design kit and one component library, and producing component variations in design takes far less time.

We have no before-and-after measurement for the documentation and test-case work, so we do not put a number on it. The VP of Software Engineering at the client reviewed Artkai on Clutch, and the review is below.
