About the business
FLUUS aims to bridge financial gaps and create equitable economies worldwide by aggregating crypto services into a single software development kit (SDK) and simplifying transactions and payments.
As FLUUS needed to raise funds quickly, our goal was to create a tangible app as fast as possible. To accomplish that, we focused on delivering a clickable prototype of the widget first to allow FLUUS to raise the round before actually realizing the app. This approach ultimately accelerates time to market and reduces costs while ensuring a higher-quality product.
Project tasks
- Create the FLUUS widget for different payment methods, making it easy to use for people who aren’t familiar with crypto
- Deliver Admin and Partner portals to instantly manage partners and access platform analytics
- Create a Design System
- Build a fully functional prototype to gain initial feedback and pitch investors
Project team
- 2 UX/UI designers
- Project Manager
Product structure
FLUUS product consists of two crucial parts:
- User side – web widget covering the emerging markets with 6+payment methods;
- Admin side – admin panel with partners control option and transaction management tools.
Challenges
- Limited payment methods in developing countries.
- Inaccessible, unsafe, and difficult cryptocurrency transactions.
- Financial barriers hindering economic growth and opportunities.
Target audience
After interviews with the client, we defined that FLUUS’ users are divided into two main groups.
1st User group: People who are unfamiliar with crypto and don’t know anything about it.
2nd User group: People who have some experience with crypto but are afraid of making any related transactions.
We took several steps to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience:
- We designed a smart selection engine that suggests the best provider and payment method based on the user’s location.
- Designed the platform to be secure and reliable, regardless of the location or method of the transaction.
- We integrated a simple and intuitive onboarding process to make it easy for users to get started with FLUUS.

Design System
It was essential to create a cohesive and consistent design system to ensure a seamless user experience across the product. We developed a comprehensive design system that includes a set of guidelines and reusable components for the interface design.
By implementing the design system, the clients’ team was able to ensure that the product had a cohesive look and feel while meeting the user’s needs.
The outcome was a polished and intuitive interface that made it easy for users (especially those unfamiliar with crypto) to navigate and use the FLUUS app.
